Employment: Bounce Inflatable Attendant – Casual – Weekends

Under the direction of the Resource Opportunities Centre, the Bounce Inflatable Attendant will: 

  • Set up and take down large bounce inflatables – must be able to lift and maneuver  up to 100lbs.
  • Keep order among patrons waiting to use the bounce inflatable.
  • Collect fees from patrons, if required (i.e.: tickets, admission bracelets)
  • Monitoring inflatable – monitor activities to ensure adherence to rules and safety procedures, and arrange for removal of unruly patrons.
  • Clean equipment if necessary.
  • Inspect inflatable for damage or wear and report issues to Programs & Events Manager.

Requirements for Hire: 

  • Willingness to complete Bounce Inflatable Safety Training.
  • Experience working with children and the public.
  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 100lbs –  Manual handling training will be provided.
  • Awareness of general safety regulations associated with a bounce inflatable and ability to enforce safety regulations with patrons.
  • First Aid, CPR, and WHIMS or willingness to obtain
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada, must have resided in Nova Scotia at least six month prior to start of employment
  • Successful screening through Child Abuse Registry.

Salary & Work hours: Starting wage for this position is $14.38/hr, depending on experience. Hours dependent on need & bookings. Most events will take place on weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
