Public Computer Access
Through our affiliation with the @NS ( www.communitytechns.ca.) the PRCC has five self-serve publicly accessible computers. Each computer is equipped with Internet, basic office applications and printing capability.
Complimentary Public Wifi Access
Our facility is fully equipped with complimentary public wi-fi access. Patrons visiting the centre are encouraged to use our public network, which does not require a password – Just look for one of our Wifi access signs and scan the QR code. (This is a complimentary service and may be discontinued at anytime without prior notice. Access is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied.)
Technology Support
Basic tech support is available by appointment. We would be happy to help you with any of the following:
- Website design
- Advertising design
- Computer & laptop help
- Device help (cell phones, tablets, cameras, etc)
- Computer applications help (Microsoft suite of products, Apple products, Google Workspace, etc.)
- Apple specific help
- Tech related advice
Note: The above services are available at a rate of $35/hour (1 hour minimum.)
The PRCC also offers the following services:
Printing/photocopying:
$0.15/per black & white page
$0.65/per colour page
(Printing from your own device / laptop is available upon request)
Faxing:
$0.50/page
(Please note that printing and photocopying is only available during our regular hours)
Scanning:
We have a self-serve scanner available for general public use. There is no charge.
Please remember to bring your own flash drive, or access to an email account that can be used to save / send scanned documents.
