Workshop 1 – Identifying Your Skills – Thursday, February 2, 2023 – 7:30-8:30pm
Everyone has skills or transferable skills, do you know what yours are? Join us for a short presentation about identifying your skills and learn about the top skills in demand in the market and how you can develop your skills to ensure your success in the job market.
Workshop 2 – Everything Resumes & Cover Letters – Thursday, March 16, 2023 – 7:30-8:30pm *NEW DATE*
There are so many styles of resumes and cover letters when you google the web it is confusing as to what is the best one to use. Come and learn the key aspects of a resume and cover letter and what you should highlight. You will leave the session with a better understanding of what employers look for when hiring and how to profile yourself in the best possible way.
Workshop 3 – Job Searching – Thursday, April 13, 2023 – 7:30-8:30pm
Looking for a job? Not sure where to look or how to look for a job? Come and join us to learn about how to job search effectively. Many jobs are not advertised so you will be provided some tips and tricks while trying to find your dream job.
Workshop 4 – Career Cafe – Thursday, May 4, 2023 – 7:30-8:30pm
Drop in and have your career questions answered whether you have questions about resumes, cover letters, skills in demand, jobs in demand, researching jobs, how to connect with people and any other career-related questions you have.
