Pickleball*Updated – February 9, 2024

We’ve updated our format for the Pickleball Drop-In program and added additional days for your enjoyment!

In consultation with the Prospect Slammers Pickleball Group and local players, we’ve adjusted our drop-in program to follow a leveled-player approach. We host pickleball drop-ins six days per week (see schedule below); two of those days are reserved for players who self-rate themselves at playing at a level 3.0 or higher.

How do you know what your level is? CLICK HERE to review the self-rating guide.

Open Play – For all players, including beginners, intermediate and advanced.

Days/Times: Monday, Thursday & Friday from 10am – 12pm & Sunday from 3 – 6pm

Intermediate & Advanced Play – For all players who self-rate themselves at level 3.0 or higher.

Days/Times: Tuesday & Wednesday from 10am – 12pm

Participants are asked to arrive promptly for the start time of their program. Access to the gymnasium will not be available until the official start time of the program in order to ensure proper set up and cleaning protocols have been completed. Participants are asked to begin wrapping up their games 10-mintues prior to the posted end time in order to ensure a smooth transition into the next activity using the space.

Equipment is available to borrow from the Prospect Slammers Pickleball Group. Instruction is often available from experienced players during Open Play days for beginners.

Fees: $4.00 per drop in OR 10-punch card for $35.00

Special Late-Night Pickleball Drop In – February to April 2024

We’ve added a special Late Night Pickleball Drop In on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings from 9-10pm starting February 13, ending April 23. This drop in is suitable for participants who have pickleball experience / equipment as equipment lending & instruction may not be available.

Outdoor Pickleball at the PRCC

The outdoor multi-use, sports court construction was completed in the Fall of 2018.  The court is currently lined for multiple pickleball courts, and portable nets are located in a locked storage box secured to the court fence.  The key to access the nets is available at the PRCC Front Desk during our open hours.

Note that the PRCC is unable to loan equipment for use on the sports court.
