Trial Fitness Classes at the PRCC!

Join us at the PRCC beginning on Tuesday, April 9th for an opportunity to try out some of our spring programs before you commit to the full spring session. All classes will be offered for a $4 fee, on a first come, first served basis.

We are very excited to announce the following classes which are new additions to our program offering:

Mobility: This class focuses on guided self-myofascial release and joint mobility using small props to help reach a deeper tissue layer than regular stretching. This class is for you if you want to increase your range of motion, have tight or sore muscles, do any amount of high impact, weight, or sports training, or just want a full body release.

Spin & Stretch: Half sweat, half sweet relaxation – the perfect combo! Spin (indoor cycling) is a low-impact but high energy class that will challenge your aerobic capacity and endurance and will build muscle with a variety of flats, hills, and sprints. Classes feature a variety of music and sequences so you’ll never get bored. It’s your workout and you’re in control of how much tension is on your bike, so you can always work harder and back off when you need to. Make sure to bring along a water bottle and a pair of running shoes, and it’s not a bad idea to bring along a small towel as well – you’re going to get sweaty! After about 25 minutes on the bike, we’ll transition to the floor to stretch it all out (no prior yoga experience necessary). You’ll leave feeling ready for a good night’s sleep. Please note: if you are trying spin for the first time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early so the instructor can help you get set up on your bike.

TKD Fitness: TKD Fitness is an upbeat, all body workout using the basic kicking and punching techniques used in the traditional martial art of TaeKwonDo. Increase your anaerobic endurance, strength, flexibility and cardio fitness in a fun and friendly environment. Sneakers, comfortable gym attire, water, and a sweat towel is recommended.
