Scope of Responsibilities:
We are seeking friendly and energetic bar staff to join our team, providing excellent customer service and quality drinks to our customers. In this varied role, you’ll be expected to look after everyone seeking bar service during events running at the Prospect Road Community Centre while the bar is open.

Qualifications:
- Bartending Certification
- 19 years or older
- Experience serving alcoholic beverages in a public setting
Specific Job Components:
- Provides a pleasant drinking experience to customers.
- Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
- Attends the detail and presentation of each order.
- Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
- Coordinates supply inventory for the bar and submits orders to the Senior Manager as needed.
- Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with the Senior Manager.
- Completes cleaning according to pre and post service, including dishwashing as needed.
- Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service productivity.
Hours: This position is a casual position supporting Prospect Road Community Centre events and/or private events. Hours or work will vary depending on the need of bar services and can include evenings and weekends.
Salary: $14.50 plus tips.
Additional: The bartender will be on a contractor agreement and will invoice the Prospect Road Community Centre for hours worked. Payment will be made through direct deposit.
