FALL SEASON PROGRAM INFORMATION

The Prospect Road Community Centre (PRCC) is pleased to offer the following 2023 Fall Season Programs. Programs are divided into four categories: Recreation, Sports, Leisure, Workshops and Monthly Events. The programs are also listed with child programs first moving into adult programs. The PRCC has begun a rolling programs process which will allow for NEW programs/workshops to start at any time during the season. As programs become available, they will be communicated to the community in a timely manner.

Please follow our Facebook and Instagram Pages @prospectcommunities and join our Email Distribution List to receive information about upcoming programs, and changes to program schedules. We will provide any updates to our calendar on our website for programs, events, services, and workshops.

Open Space Time
Regular Monthly & Upcoming Events
Paint Night
Starting in September the PRCC will be offering Adult Paint Nights with a bar. The Doors open at 6:30pm with painting beginning at 7:00pm. First Paint Night with the bar is on September 14 and will occur the second Thursday of every month. Pre Registration is required. Paintings that will be done will be posted to our facebook page.
Open Gym/Rec Space
Beginning in September community members will have access to the Dance Studio for leisure and/or quiet recreation when not in use by other programs and/or events/bookings . Current fitness centre members have access to these spaces with their membership fees. There will be a $4 for non fitness centre members. Please note days and times are subject to change due to program and private space use – we recommend checking our online calendar via our website at www.centre.prospectcommunities.com to see if there is anything running in those spaces on a certain day and/or time.
Youth Open Gym
Youth open gym will be returning with the school year. Youth will have access to the PRCC gym between 2:00pm and 2:45pm. Please note youth will have to register for an Open Gym Pass (like a library card). Youth who register must complete forms with parent signatures. Further information about youth open gym registration will be provided with forms.
Family Open Gym
Family open gym from 11:30-1:30 every Saturday with a fee of $2 per person. Please note family open gym time is not a drop off for kids, parents and/or guardians are expected to participate in/or monitor their children during open gym time. Days and times may change due to programs and events/bookings – we recommend checking our online calendar via our website at www.centre.prospectcommunities.com to see if there is anything running in those spaces on a certain day and/or time.
